Disha-Think Pink is the first South Asian non-profit organization to spread the message of hope and increase public awareness, prevention, early detection and optimal treatment of Breast Cancer risk.
Our goal is to educate and prepare South Asian women to be proactive advocates for their health.
Our target is to reach the 3.5 million South Asian women in the United States with our unique and life-saving health programs related to breast cancer; therefore, empower this and the future generations of women to live healthier, happier and longer lives. We are raising funds and promoting awareness to instill faith in humankind and make a difference in our community.
Disha-Think Pink is on a mission to save women’s lives from breast cancer by empowering them to live proactively at a young age.
Disha-Think Pink’s vision is ‘the world with no cancer.’
Besides, we believe nobody should suffer alone, so we welcome women from every community if they need our support.
WHY YOU NEED HELP?
In recent years, South Asian women are being diagnosed with BREAST CANCER at a young age, often as early as 35 years which are also considered to be the most productive years of their lives. Moreover, the type of cancer affecting South Asian women is quite aggressive than that in Caucasian women. Almost 50-60 percent of the women succumb to this disease.
We offer free services to uninsured women and low-cost services to under-served through our unique programs. Each program is designed carefully with the sensitivity that a Breast Cancer patient needs. To learn more how we can provide you the best support, please click OUR PROGRAM.
